セックス・ピストルズやクラッシュが誕生した西ロンドン地区のラドブローク・グローブで2014年に結成された4人組。クラッシュを彷彿とさせるレゲエとパンクのアティテュードが今の時代に呼応し、まさに“現代のレベル・ミュージック”として話題を独占、現地UKでは「クラッシュの再来」と形容されるなど、レゲエやパンク、インディ・ロック・シーンで台風の目となっている。昨年は世界最高峰とも称されるUKロック・フェス『グラストンベリー・フェスティバル2017』に出演を果たし、今年はその勢いもそのままに日本最大級の某ロック・フェスへの出演が内定している超逸材！2014年結成ながらたちまち注目の的となっている気鋭のニューカマーSmiley & The Underclass!!! 初来日公演となる今宵の特別なステージ！証言者は貴方だ！！

Formed in 2014 in the melting pot of Ladbroke Grove, Smiley & The Underclass bring forth a rebellious call to arms with a power, honesty and conviction rarely seen in music in these times. Infused with the case-heavy vibrations of Dub music and the deadly concoction blues with a rhythm guaranteed to move ideas and dancehall across the UK. The Underclass are Punky Reggae monsters, with catchy tunes and skanks sliced together with mind-altering garage guitars. Their urgency is real and carries a climate-conscious message powerful enough to awaken all punk rockers and rots rebels in this modern era. They just released their debut album, recorded with the legendary Nick Manasseh(featuring Vin Gordon), also a couple songs were recorded at Mick Jones studio.
