“A PACKED HOUSE”とはスイスのインディー・バンド、Carve Up!テーマである。
奇妙で遊び心のあるサイケデリック・インディー・ロックで、ノイズやシューゲイザーのセンスもある全6曲はバンドの中心メンバー4人による短い実験的な間奏曲で結ばれており、このアルバムの超現実的な回廊や限界空間の役割を果たしている。
満を辞したアルバムがここに完成！！
このアルバムを記念して、Japan Tourを敢行。
A Packed House is the title of the second Album uf Swiss indie band Carve Up!.
Like the first one released in 2022 over AuGeil Records, it is all DIY – they built the songs it around demo material recorded by Rémy Sax and produced the whole
thing in their rehearsal space in Winterthur with some talented guest collaborators (Jana Kohler on vocals and artwork duties and Milena Hirsiger on sax) and bassist Tobias Rüetschi had the pleasure to mix the album by himself.
It’s weird and playful psychedelic indie rock, with tasteful
dashes of noise and shoegaze. The six songs are connected by
short experimental intermezzos by the four core members of the
band, acting as surreal corridors and liminal spaces in this
packed house of an album. You can listen to the music here.
To celebrate the album, the band also planned and booked a DIY
tour through Japan this summer.
